·         Single occupancy is only available in the cabin categories of LUX, AA2 and AB2 (AB2 Only on Blue Horizon) and has a 50 % surcharge.

·         Occupancy of AA2, AA4, AB4 and AB2 (AB2 Only on Blue Horizon) cabins is available on a per–bed basis.

·          Fares provide the option of combing destinations ( e.g.  Ancona – Patras and Igoumenitsa – Bari ),  categories [( e.g.  Ancona – Patras (deck ) and Patras – Ancona ( cabin AA2 )] and seasons [( e.g. Ancona – Patras ( high season ) and Patras – Ancona ( low season )]. The  calculation  of the above combinations can be made by adding the 50 % of the cost  of  the  relevant fares (e.g. Roundtrip fare, Bari - Patras, cabin AA2, low season and Patras – Ancona, cabin AB2 high season : 314  x 50% + 370 x 50%  = 157 + 185 = 342,00 Euro.)  

·    Pets
Italy -Greece:
A limited number of cabins are available for pet
carriage. It is necessary to reserve these cabins in advance. Should these be fully booked, we alternatively offer a small number of kennels. Owners or guardians are required to have their pet's valid health documents with them while travelling and follow all entry regulations. Pets are not allowed indoors (bars, restaurants and other public areas) or in vehicles, while access to the vehicle deck is forbidden during crossings, and when walking on the open deck they are required to wear muzzle and be on a leash, accompanied by the pet owner or guardian. The pet owner or guardian is held fully responsible for any damages caused by the pet.
Pet Carriage in cabins: Euro 50 per pet per way. Pet cabins are 4bed outside cabins that can be booked as 4bed, 3bed, 2bed, or single. Single occupancy has an extra surcharge. Pet cabins are not available on a per bed basis. Per carriage in kennels: Euro 20 per pet per way. 

·     SUPERKID : Children under the age of 4 who do not occupy a bed/berth pay only 5,5 Euro per passage. Children under the age of 4 who occupy a bed/aircraft type seat pay 50% of the selected adult fare. There is 50% discount on fares for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Children travelling in cabins must be accompanied by a full-fare paying adult. (Family Specials & Super Economy include children discounts).

·         FOR BLUE STAR FERRIES TICKETS Save up to 10% on Domestic lines' tickets ( for passengers and vehicles) provided that international SUPERFAST FERRIES tickets and domestic BLUE STAR FERRIES tickets are issued simultaneously. The offer is valid all year round.

·        YOUTH DISCOUNT Save up to 20% for youths up to 25 years old travelling in all accommodation categories.

·         SUPERSENIOR: All passengers 60 and over are entitled to a 10% discount

·         AIRSEAT & DECK OFFER  Save up to 20%
20% discount for more than 4 passengers traveling in airseats or deck plus vehicle up to 6m long & 2m high. 
All passengers must travel with the same ticket.
Discount is valid for passengers and vehicle.
Discount does not apply to Camping on Board reservations.
Not combinable with the Supersaver tariff.

·         FAMILY OFFER  Save up to 10%
10% discount for families with 3 or 4 members traveling in A3/AB3 or AA4/AB4 cabins with or without vehicle.
All passengers must travel with the same ticket. 
Discount is valid for passengers and vehicles (all categories). 
Not combinable with the Supersaver tariff.

·         SUPERSAVER  Save up to 5%:
       Valid for round trip travel only. 
       Tickets must be issued at least 45 days prior to departure date. 
       Tickets cannot be issued with an open return date. 
       Reservations can be changed once a ticket has been issued by paying the difference between the
       Supersaver and the normal round trip fare. 
       Cancellations & refunds as per the general cancellation & refund terms in the master brochure. 
       Minimum stay: 7 days 
       Maximum stay: 60 days

·     HYBRID CAR REDUCTION  Save up to 50%
      All clients travelling with Hybrid cars (all year) are offered a 50% discount on vehicle. Copy of car
      license is the valid proof of having a hybrid car, which should be sent to Travel agent (per fax, 
      e-mail) to get the discount. All Car licenses state the wording Hybrid.

  Note: All discounts / offers are not cumulative and only one of them (the greater) is granted at a time. (the greater) is granted at a time.

·    CANCELLATIONS
      Cancellations can be made at the Travel Agency, Port Agency, Premium Sales Agent or Superfast
      Ferries S.A. or Blue Star Ferries S.A. offices that reservation and payment have taken place. The
      following amounts are refunded: 
-          A 100% refund, up to 21 days prior to departure.
-          A 50% refund, from 20 days to 24 hours prior to departure.
-          Superfast Ferries S.A. or Blue Star Ferries S.A. have no obligation to refund 24 hours prior to
      ship's departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in.
-          In the event of a partial cancellation of a round trip ticket, the ticket holder will be charged a  
      SUPERONE (one way) fare.

·   OPEN RETURN TICKETS
Passengers with open return tickets should confirm their return date with Superfast Ferries or the issuing travel agency at least one week prior to departure (during low season) and two weeks prior to departure (during high season) .The return fare will correspond with the season during which the passenger is travelling. Any difference in price with the pre-paid fare will be paid by the passenger at port prior to check-in. Superfast Ferries cannot guarantee return reservations and is not responsible for failure to transport passengers.

Terms and Conditions

Passengers, their luggage and accompanied vehicles are carried subject to a) The Athens convention Relating to Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea 1974 b) the Greek Private Maritime Code and c) the general conditions of carriage of Superfast Ferries collectively "the Conditions". These Conditions include exclusions and limitations of the carrier's liability for death, illness or for damage to or loss of vehicles and luggage or for delay or deviation. In particular, the Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea 1974 includes limits to the carrier's liability for loss of or damage to luggage and accompanied vehicles. Copies of the Conditions of carriage of Superfast Ferries are available on request.

Limited Liability
Fares and Timetables listed in the Superfast Ferries 2006 Catalogue are based on conditions existing at the time of print. If any conditions should change after the time of print, the company reserves the right to make changes in the timetable or to refrain from contractual obligation. In the unlikely event that contractual obligations may not be fulfilled, the customer is entitled to a full refund of payments made. The company is however not liable for any damages resulting thereof. In the event of an increase in fuel prices, currency fluctuation or other unforeseen circumstances, it reserves the right to change the fares without prior notice.

Reservation Requirements
In compliance with international SOLAS regulations, please note that you are required
to supply the following information when you make your reservation: Name and Surname, Sex, Nationality, Date of birth, Type and registration number of vehicle (if applicable). Passengers from non-European Union (and non-Schengen) countries are required to supply the following additional information: Passport number and expiry date, Visa expiry date (if required).

Camping on Board
As per International Ship and Port Security Code regulations (ISPS) of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Superfast Ferries will no longer be able to accept camping on board on its vessels in the Adriatic Sea.

Ticket Validity
Tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Discounts
Valid proof is required by Superfast Ferries® upon request for discounted fares e.g.: 
a) infants,
b) children,
c) senior citizens, 
d) passengers with special needs,
e) students,
f) youths.

Group Requests
A group consists of a minimum of 16 passengers. Group fares can be requested through 
Ferries.info ( reservations@ferries.info ) 

Unaccompanied Children
Superfast Ferries does not accept reservations for children under the age of 15 years old that are not accompanied by adults. Reservations for young people from the age of 15 up to 18 years are only acceptable if the parental or legal guardian has given his /her written permission for the unaccompanied voyage. Appropriate forms are available from Superfast Ferries.

Passengers with special needs
On board our vessels there are specially designed cabins with easy access and operation
to accommodate passengers with special needs. Due to a limited number of cabins it is
necessary to reserve in advance.

Breakfast and other Meals
These are not included in the ticket price.

Embarkation Procedures
Passengers with confirmed reservations must present themselves to the embarkation point at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure of the ship. The Company holds the right to cancel the booking after this period with no refund available. Embarkation commences 3 hours before departure. Check-in closes 20 minutes before the departure of the ship. Those travelling with campers or caravans should check in 3 hours before the departure of the ship. Passengers must be in possession of valid identification and travel documents.

Loss of ticket
In case of loss of ticket the passenger must immediately advise the issuing Agent or the Company. Refund of lost tickets will only be effected 6 months after the issuing date of the new ticket, and only if the original ticket is not used.

Commercial Vehicles
Special prices are available for trucks, machinery and heavy goods.

Timetables - Fares
The Company will do everything in its power to maintain the timetables quoted in the published brochures, but it reserves the right to change the timetables and rates, without prior notice, in the case of increased fuel costs, monetary fluctuations or other unforeseen circumstances.

Attention
Tickets are valid only for the port of departure written on the ticket. In case of change passengers must notify the issuing Agent or the Port Agent of Superfast Ferries.

Port Taxes
They are included in the fares quoted.

Valuables
Passengers can leave money and objects not exceeding the value of 300,00 Euro at the Purser's Office.

Luggage Save
Save insofar as the Athens Convention applies, the Company is not responsible for loss of money or valuables in the communal areas of passenger luggage. Passengers may leave luggage in their cars, the available luggage spaces or their cabins, however it is recommended that insurance is taken against all risks. A tag, securely fastened on all items of luggage, should state name of passenger and date of departure.

Boarding Procedure /Entry Regulations
All passengers are required to have a valid passport and other travel documents. Superfast Ferries cannot be held responsible in the event that authorities prevent a passenger from continuing his/her journey. Superfast Ferries reserves the right to deny embarkation to any individual who does not possess valid travel documents. In the event of a fine being imposed on Superfast Ferries by the immigration office, the amount will be charged to the passenger who failed to provide the proper legal documents. In the event of immigration officials refusing entry, the passenger will be sent back at his own expense. For citizens of the European Union and Switzerland, an identity card is required to enter Finland. Infants and children also require an official form of identification. We would request that citizens of other states contact the appropriate consulate for details.

Note: At check-in, all passengers must furnish proof of ticket ownership with either a valid identification card or passport.
